Meadowsweet - the inspiration for modern day aspirin, this fragrant, flowery European herb is known for its salicylate content, which inhibits the COX2 pathway, therefore, reducing pain and inflammation. This sweet-smelling herb is known for its affinity for the digestive tract and stomach.

The herb has a non-drying astringent effect that can be helpful for many conditions of the digestive tract. In addition to its benefits for the digestive system, it is a potent anti-inflammatory herb with an ability to relieve mild to severe pains, certain headaches, joint pain, and fever.* 

Calendula - this brightly colored yellow and orange flower is known for its high resin content, which can be felt on your hands when harvesting it. This flower and its resin have long been known for its wound healing actions. It is a potent anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, and anti-microbial that works gently both internally and externally on everything from our skin to the inside of our mouth and the lining of the gut.* 

Rosemary - hailed for its ability to heal and add flavor to any dish, rosemary is one of the most commonly used medicinal and culinary herbs in the U.K. and United States. Traditional uses as a memory aid, circulatory stimulant, digestive aid, mood enhancer, and pain reliver have stayed in favor today. It's popularity might be due to its fast-acting effects, which can be felt almost immediately, and its powerful abilities as an antioxidant.

Like calendula, rosemary is powerful wound healer and anti-fungal. Rosemary was selected for this formula for its ability to relieve pain, provide mental clarity, and to reduce bloating and gas.* 

Black pepper - selected for its high terpene content and ability to drive chemical constituents outside the gut lining into the bloodstream, it could be considered a compliment to the other herbs in this formula. Black pepper contains many terpene constituents, including beta caryophyllene. This terpene may have an effect on mood, inflammation, lowering pain, and digestive function.* 

Dandelion - this common weed has been traditionally used as a food and digestive aid. Its popularity may be due to its high nutritional content and its ability to normalize digestion. Dandelion is thought to stimulate the organs that assist in digestion. With an affinity for the stomach, gallbladder, pancreases, liver, and intestines, dandelion is here to sooth, nourish, and stimulate the natural and gentle process of digestion. By stimulating these organs dandelion can aid in the digestion of fats and sugars and provide minerals and vitamins.*

Suggested Use: 

Suggested use serves as guidance only. Formula is intended for adult use. Actual dosage will vary by individual. 

Tinctures are unfiltered, shake gently before each use.

Individuals may find a low dose suitable. 

• Low/starting dose: 5-10 drops
• Maintenance dose: 30 drops (1 dropperful), 1-3x day
• Rescue dose: 30-60 drops (1-2 dropperfuls), 1-3x day

How to Take: Add dosage to 1 oz of water or juice. Hold solution in mouth for 20-30 seconds before swallowing.

Safety: Meadowsweet is a salicylate containing herb. Salicylates become salicylic acid, an ingredient in aspirin. It is not advised to combine meadowsweet with NSAIDs. Do not take if sensitive to salicylates. Take 2-hours away from pharmaceutical medications as it may impact absorption. Not for use during pregnancy. Do not use with intestinal infections.
